In honor of Veterans Day, the Community Outreach Committee of the Vegas Wedding Chamber is Organizing Our Members and are giving away Weddings to Active and Retired Military and US Veterans to say "Thank you for your Service!
Mark and Terah Ann met 16 years ago in Glen Burnie, Maryland, while Terah Ann was staying there after a cancelled flight left her stuck following an assignment as a travel nurse. Mark, a former Army Veteran, served 15 years in the Army, including 2 tours of war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Terah Ann served in the Army Reserve as a hospital corpsman and is now a nurse and Nurse Practitioner doing contract Veteran Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams for the VA.
Mark suffered damage to his eyes while overseas in war, which caused him to lose part of his vision. Mark and Terah were together for a number of years and had planned to get married in Las Vegas in 2010, but due to stressful situations, they broke it off. After being apart for several years, they found their way back to each other.
Terah remained close with Mark's family for many years, like they were her own family, and through struggles, including the death of Terah's father and the deaths of both Mark's father and step-father, Mark and Terah Ann realized life is short. They reconnected, decided to get back together, and chose to make their love official through marriage.
